Tired of t-shirts with the same old bad clichés and outdated stereotypes about people who love technology, we decided to make some stuff we'd actually want to wear ourselves. After all, we're graphic designers and software developers that love technology, too.

Since we're all about being digital, there's no Caretcake warehouse or manufacturing plant, and there aren't any elves toiling away in a Caretcake workshop ... at least not yet anyway. We use print-on-demand services to handle order fulfillment, so when you press the "buy" button on any product page, you're taken to the vendor's website who will complete that particular purchase.

So, if you love technology (or know people who do), spread the word. And, because our t-shirt catalog grows at a somewhat erratic pace, be sure to come back often, or, better yet, follow us on Twitter .

We seriously care about your satisfaction with our products, and even though other vendors produce our t-shirts and fulfill your order, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. We hope that the FAQs in the dropdown below answer whatever questions you have about what to do if things go wrong, but if you need us, we're just a click away, ready to help get things sorted out as quickly as possible.

field15, Inc., is a digital design and development shop, and it's field15's designers and developers who are behind the t-shirts you see here. Caretcake.com is wholly owned and operated by field15, Inc.
All of the ideas and designs you see on Caretcake belong to field15, Inc., but we use third-party, print-on-demand vendors for manufacturing and order fulfillment. So, when you click the "Get Your Shirt!" buttons on this site, we send you where you need to go to complete your purchase.
Yes, please! And make sure to include your email address — if we use your idea, we'll contact you and send you a free t-shirt as a thanks.
Of course! The exact pricing, order fulfillment, speed of delivery, and other details depend on the product or products you're interested in, though. To find out more, just contact us and let us know what you're interested in purchasing.
Right now, our products are only available online, but we hope to change that in the near future. If you own a retail store and would like to talk to us about getting our products in your store, we'd love to hear from you!

If you're asking this question, then we're going to guess that you're either really, really excited about getting your purchase or something's gone wrong with the delivery. We hope it's the former, but in case it's the latter, here's what we can tell you.

You should have received a confirmation email after you made your purchase, and it'll have information like date of purchase, purchase order number, and in some cases, an expected delivery date. If you didn't receive a confirmation message yet, please check your spam folder.

Unfortunately, because order fulfillment happens through third-party vendors, we don't have access to information like where exactly your stuff is right now. If you're having problems confirming your purchase at all, you can contact us with your name, product(s) purchased, and date of purchase, and we can tell you which vendor you made the purchase from and whether we received confirmation of your order. From there, though, you'll have to contact the order fulfillment vendor directly.

We're sorry to hear that you're not happy with your purchase, but all of the third-party vendors we work with have great return policies. Because we don't complete the orders ourselves, you'll have to go through our fulfillment vendors to return your purchase. If you're not sure who you actually purchased the product from, please contact us with your name, product(s) purchased, and date of purchase, and we'll send you the vendor information. And, if you have the time, we'd really love for you to tell us why you're returning your purchase. We want to make sure that we've partnered with the best third-party vendors for our products, so if there's a problem with one of them, we'd really like to know.
Caretcake.com was built on DandyCMS — a full-featured content management system running on top of the Python-based Django framework. DandyCMS was written by field15, Inc., for rapid development and easy management of catalog and directory style websites but can also be used for blogs and brochure style websites, as well. DandyCMS may be available to the general public as an open source project at some point in the future.
